Cousins, Cousins....continued

Last week I spent the entire week with cousins Lance and Ivy at Nana and Papa Doc's house and we had a blast together. Here are a few of our memorable moments together:

Who knew the swimming pool water tasted so good?!

We did agree that drinking from our sippy cups was just as cool!!

Popsicles was a new treat for me....yummy!!

Lance joined me for a duet at the piano one afternoon and we amazed all with our talents.

The coup car was a favorite and we all decided to try it at once.

Lance and I enjoyed guy talk over crackers.

And of course Uncle Benj got a great photo op with all of us and our friend Sadie too.

Cousins, Cousins....

So weekend before last, cousins Lance and Ivy came to visit and now this week we're all at Nana's house together and definitely having a blast.

First pictures from the weekend at my place....we loved splashing at the pool.

Later we had a leisurely snack time on the floor.

After dinner I showed them the sights of downtown Sugarland.

And then we all had fun watching the fish after our baths but I think we really liked not having any clothes on!!

Potty Training

Last week Mom bought me training pants and we officially started potty training. So now I only wear a diaper for nap and bedtime and when we go out. And the rest of the day I'm in my training pants that can be quickly pulled down for potty time. So far I've gone in the potty 7 times total, including 1 BM and I'm not quite sure what's happening but when I do Mom gets really excited and cheers me on which is definitely fun!!

Here's a couple pictures from the week..

This week I'm visiting with my cousins at Nana and Grandpa Doc's and I've enjoyed having "potty" guests!!

Life at home with Mom

So Mom has officially been a stay at home mom (SAHM) for almost a month now and I've been loving it. Here's a little bit of what we do during the day:

I enjoy being a part of Mom's morning Bible Study.

Mom lets me help her in the kitchen if I promise to not make too big of a mess!!

If I disobey or whine Mom puts me in time-out with no toys...:(..but not to worry I'm not in there much!!!

Every day I find something new and exciting to play with.

I LOVE outside play time:

And then it's time to relax and listen to music or watch a fun show about animals.

Mom's always chasing me with the camera and every now and then I'll stay still long enough for her to get a great shot!!

Videos of Oliver

Finally figured out how to upload videos, since we had to compress them, convert them....not really sure how we did it but we now have videos of myself so wanted to share a couple cute ones from the past few months.

Here's one where I'm listening to classical music and practicing my conducting skills!!
For some reason this video is banned in Germany....

And now for a couple to show off my emerging musical talents!!

If you were listening closely in that last one you could hear my Dad on the trumpet.

And here is my first lesson on trumpet.

My Dad was super proud of me!!

Fishing Trip

My parents were gone all day on Saturday and I had a blast hanging with Grandma!! Here's my mom telling what happened:

Last Saturday Nathan and I arose at 5:30am and headed off to Galveston. At 7am we boarded the Capt. John Fishing Boat and set off for deep waters.

Here's a couple pictures from the top deck of the boat as we were leaving the pier.

Four hours later we reached deep waters about 120 miles out. After some help from the deck hands I figured out the casting and reeling in pretty quickly and promptly caught a red snapper that was a keeper!!

A little later I hooked an even larger one and Nathan had to pull it up for me.

After a few hours of catching fish and occasionally moving to a new location, we headed back inside for the 4 hour trip back to the harbor. The fish were proudly hung up for display.

We ended up with 4 red snapper fish...

...and after they were cleaned, gutted, and filleted we filled our cooler up with about 9 lbs of fish meat. They are now taking up about half of the freezer so we are set for awhile!!

4th of July Pictures

We traveled to Aggie Land for the 4th and enjoyed touring the George Bush Presidential library and then watched fireworks while an orchestra played!!

Here is our family photo showing off our patriotic spirit with red!! I think Amy must have told us a joke since it looks like we're all laughing.

And here's a couple cute pictures of all the cousins in their red, white, and blue!!

The cousins also enjoyed a fun play area inside the library.

Oliver got a kick out of opening the dog houses that were scattered throughout the library.

Back outside he laughed, and danced on the manhole covers while waiting for the firework show to begin.
